Education and outreach are as critical to our mission as saving horses. If you would like to schedule a field trip, program, event, or speaking engagement, contact Nancy at 518-962-8512 or horses@cmvhr.org. We also offer job shadowing programs to local high schools, volunteer and community service workdays, and internships for veterinary students.
All of these programs are offered at no charge. Donations are accepted and appreciated.

In mid-September, 41 neglected horses were seized from a property in Essex County. As adopting agent for the county, Crane Mountain Valley Horse Rescue has found homes for 37 of the horses. We want to help - so we are hosting a benefit wine tasting for the continued care and training of the remaining horses. We'll be pouring Wild Horse wines beginning at noon and the main event will begin at 6 pm with live music from Julie Robards and food by Green Goddess Natural Market. I
Proceeds from this event benefit the Essex County "Horse Care" Fund, the Trainers who have been working with these horses to help make them more easily adoptable, and Crane Mountain Valley Horse Rescue, Inc.
